Your jewellery deserves to be properly insured, and your best protection is a professionally written valuation with a detailed photograph.

A certified valuation is a comprehensive document that lists all pieces being appraised seperately and assigns a value for each piece individually.

A detailed description, style, period (if applicable), method of manufacture, any trademarks or identification stamps, metal type, carat, and colour are listed for each piece. The weight of the piece is also listed in grams. Gemstones, if mounted, are listed with their pieces, otherwise they are listed seperately. Diamonds have their actual or estimated weight (depending on size), cut, colour, clarity, or other identifying details. Coloured stones have approximate or actual weight (depending on size), cut, colour, brilliancy, and clarity listed.

Our valuations are not computerised. In the old fashioned way, each piece of your precious jewellery is described one by one by a qualified diamond specialist with over 35 years experience.

The full certified valuation is a complete record of information to replace your jewellery items should they be lost, damaged or stolen.
